Exhibitions and Events

Over the next year I have a number of projects I am working on. I am developing new works for exhibition (UK and overseas) and as a guest artist at the Knitting and Stitching Show and Festival of Quilts 2012. I will be giving workshops and exhibiting in Italy, Germany and the Netherlands and in the longer term back to Australia.

My book, The Found Object in Textile Art, Batsford Publications, is getting good reviews and was reprinted within a year of publication. I am currently working on another book 'Connected Cloth' in collaboration with Anne Kelly.

Teaching remains an important part of my practice and I work at Adult Education part-time as well as run workshops in schools and educational establishments.

I can offer the workshops to a hosting organisation, schools, colleges, museum and textile groups at their own venue. More intimate workshops, Limited Edition, can be offered at my own premises for two to four students and the day will offer lots of individual attention.
