resources for the textile arts community
Based in the South West of England, I am an experienced tutor, having taught in Further Education in the Creative Studies Sector for many years, as well as being a practising textile artist, trading as ALL THINGS NATURAL. I am a tutor for the Open College of the Arts, offering face to face tutorials.
My products are environmentally friendly, ecologically sound, and unique to the wearer.
My courses are written to introduce both the uninitiated to textile work as well as encouraging broader horizons to those who are already actively involved with embroidery/patchwork/weaving groups. Linked with experimentation it can only lead to interesting results.
You can give free reign to your creativity - in fact my message is "forget the rules". Even if you are a complete novice I can help you discover how to make exciting designs, using a medley of different colours, fabrics, threads, experimental textile techniques and stitches.
